Dr. Aydin is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and has his own private practice in Paramus, NJ and White Plains, NY. He performs cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Aydin also provides minimally-invasive procedures and reconstruction surgeries for cancer and traumatic injury survivors. He is board certified through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery. Dr. Aydin is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Aydin has worked diligently throughout his career honing artistic skills for patient procedures like liposuction, breast augmentation and reconstruction, facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and more. After earning his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Aydin obtained his medical education at New York Medical College. After earning his medical degree, he completed his general surgery residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, NY where he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Aydin researched a melanoma vaccine for 2 years, which resulted in numerous publications.
After becoming a general surgeon, Dr. Aydin completed a burn fellowship at Westchester Medical Center in New York, NY where he excelled in the treatment of disfiguring injuries and scars. Then, he trained with world-renowned plastic surgeons during his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI. Dr. Aydin returned to the Tri-State area in 2010 to bring his innovative techniques and creative skills to his patients.
When Dr. Aydin is not at either of his plastic surgery practices or in the operating room, he can be found teaching the bright, young medical minds of New York Medical College as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Aydin is also a proud family man, who lives in Bergen County with his lovely wife and their 5 children.
